SHANGHAI, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Thursday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for January delivery was up 7.2 yuan (about 1.02 U.S. dollars) to close at 455.7 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 10 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 221,586 lots, with a turnover of about 100.87 billion yuan.
