-- CGTN Think Tank launched in Beijing
The China Global Television Network (CGTN) announced Wednesday in Beijing the launch of its think tank as a platform for exchanges and cooperation among global think tanks.
The institute, revealed at the third CGTN Global Media Summit, will establish cooperative relationships with 50 renowned think tanks worldwide, with goals to offer insights on world development and promote communication among different cultures.
-- China promotes cultural-relic buildings' utilization
The National Cultural Heritage Administration of China on Thursday released a guide on the utilization of cultural-relic buildings.
Based on the guidance on how to open such buildings to the public issued by the administration in 2017, the new guide looks into more than 40 cases in places where sound measures were taken to open the buildings.
-- China trains professionals for intangible cultural heritage protection
Over 140 people have participated in a five-day training on the protection of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province.
Participants of the courses are staff at local ICH centers and members of ICH representative inheritor recording teams.
The program, which concluded Friday, aims to help the trainees learn how to record ICH representative inheritors with digital and multimedia means. Enditem
