BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- The following is a list of major shows, concerts, exhibitions and events in China for Monday:
-- Polish Games Concert
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Shanghai Oriental Art Center
Polish conductor Robert Kurdybacha will lead the Percival band and Atom String Quartet to perform the soundtrack in some original Polish computer games.
The Atom String Quartet, a jazz band in Poland, will bring the audience soundtrack in the game "Frostpunk," which won the title of the "Best Game Music" in the "Game Audio Awards."
-- Ballet "The Red Detachment of Women"
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, Beijing
The show, considered as one of the most popular modern Chinese ballets, tells the story about a group of poor women in China's southern Hainan Island who joined the Red Army in the 1930s.
It will be performed by China's world-class art troupe -- the National Ballet of China.
-- Live-action show "Enduring Memories of Hangzhou"
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: No. 86 Beishan Road, West Lake District, Hangzhou
Set on the water of the West Lake, the live-action performance is more like a concert integrating China's best-known classical and folk music with violin concerto, symphony and popular music.
With the arts of dance and visual effects aligning with the music, the show demonstrates the profound and charming Chinese culture.
Directed by Zhang Yimou, it was originally performed at the G20 Hangzhou Summit in east China's Zhejiang Province in 2016. Enditem
