SHANGHAI, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for January delivery was up 9.7 yuan (about 1.38 U.S. dollars) to close at 467.9 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 11 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 261,316 lots, with a turnover of about 120.98 billion yuan.
