-- Opera "Turandot"

Location: Shanghai Grand Theater, Shanghai
Inspired by Giacomo Puccini's acclaimed opera of the same name, this version produced by the Shanghai Grand Theater puts new perspectives to the classic love story in which a young prince in exile wins the love of a coldhearted princess.
This production features Chinese leading soprano He Hui starring the Chinese princess Turandot.
-- Play "The Beauty Queen of Leenane"
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Drum Tower West Theater, Beijing
Starring Chinese performers, the play recounts a 1996 Irish dramatic hit about the farce and melodrama between an unmarried woman in her early 40s and her manipulative mother.
The original play won several international play awards in a clean sweep after its release.
-- Drama "White Deer Plain"
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater, Wuhan
Based on a modern Chinese literature masterpiece of the same name by Chen Zhongshi, the drama unfolds its plot revolving around the hardships and spiritual pursuit of several generations living on the White Deer Plain in Shaanxi Province in northwest China.
A production of Shaanxi People's Art Theatre, the drama was adapted by Chinese leading playwright Meng Bing in 2016. Enditem
