SHANGHAI, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed lower Friday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for February delivery was down 3.7 yuan (about 53 U.S. cents) to close at 331.76 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 616,530 lots, with a turnover of about 206.84 billion yuan.
