-- Drama "Lin Zexu"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing

The play features Lin Zexu, a Qing Dynasty official who led the fight against opium smuggling. It is co-produced by the NCPA and the Guangzhou Dramatic Arts Center on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Lin destroying opium at Humen in south China's Guangdong Province in 1839.

-- Dance drama "The Phantom of the Opera"

Time: 8:00 p.m.

Location: Guangxi Poly Theatre, Nanning, Guangxi

The Spanish Ballet of Cuba, a prominent dance troupe, will bring "The Phantom of the Opera," a dance version of the classic Broadway musical.

The dance drama depicts a love story with flamenco dances. Premiered in Cuba in 2001, the show has toured Latin America and Europe, and has become one of the classics of the dance troupe.

-- Original musical "Matilda"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: SAIC Shanghai Culture Square, Shanghai

"Matilda the Musical" is a stage musical reveling in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life.

Adapted by Dennis Kelly from Roald Dahl's original book and with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, the musical has won multiple international awards and continues to thrill audiences around the world. Enditem
