BAGHDAD -- The death toll from Sunday's U.S. forces' attack on Hashd Shaabi bases near the border with Syria, rose to 25 and 51 others were wounded, a statement said on Monday.

Jawad Kadhim al-Rebi'awi, a Hashd Shaabi leader, said "the death toll of the attacks that targeted the headquarters of the Hashd Shaabi 45th and 46th Brigades mounted to 25 and 51 were wounded, and that the death toll could rise as many of the wounded are in critical condition," according to the statement. ADEN, Yemen -- Thousands of newly-recruited Yemeni troops began preparations for waging a massive military attack to capture all areas of the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah following a year of de-escalation.

The preparations for the upcoming military campaign against the Houthi rebels came just weeks after the complete withdrawal of all military forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Sudan from Hodeidah's outskirts. (Yemen-Hodeidah-Attack)

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi militias said they shot down two drones on Monday "belonging to the Saudi-led coalition."

According to a statement by the Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea, the first drone was shot down over Razih district in the Yemeni northern province of Saada, while the second was downed over Salef area in the Yemeni Red Sea port city of Hodeidah. (Yemen-Drone) Enditem
