BEIJING, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- The following are a selection of art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Beijing in the coming week:

The Dance Company of Siberia My Siberia

Date: Jan. 6 - Jan. 8

Time: 19:30 - 21:00

Place: Opera House, National Center for the Performing Arts

Introduction:

The Dance Company of Siberia was founded in 1960. During the past five decades, it has successfully created modern artistic pictures in such popular dances as the Yenisei Fair, A Snowy Town, My Russia, Men's Dance and Cossack's Dance.

There will be 14 dances gifted to its Beijing tour, including My Siberia and Krasnoyarsk Merry Tunes.

Dramatic play "Faust"

Date: Jan. 9 - Jan. 12

Time: 19:30 - 22:30

Place: Beijing Poly Theater

Introduction:

A new adaptation of Goethe's classic dramatic play "Faust" directed by Lithuanian director Rimas Tuminas will premiere in Beijing next week. Based on a classic German legend, the play tells the story of Faust, a discontented scholar who makes a deal with the devil in order to attain worldly pleasure at the expense of his soul.

Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra

Date: Jan. 9

Time: 19:30 - 22:00

Place: Concert Hall, National Center for the Performing Arts
