SHANGHAI, Jan.8 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures opened higher Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for February delivery was up 20.7 yuan (about 2.97 U.S. dollars) to open at 528.0 yuan a barrel.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investors, in March 2018. Enditem
