TEHRAN -- All the 179 passengers and crew members on board the Boeing 737 Ukrainian passenger plane that crashed near Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) on Wednesday morning were confirmed dead, Iran's Press TV reported.

Head of Iran's Emergency Medical Services Pir-Hossein Koulivand confirmed there had been 170 passengers and nine crew members on the plane. (Iran-Ukrainian Plane-Crash)

BEIRUT -- Former Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn denied on Wednesday all accusations brought against him by Nissan, adding that he will fight until the end to prove his innocence, local TV channel MTV reported.

RAMALLAH -- Palestine on Wednesday slammed the remarks by Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett and U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman over the annexation of Area C of the West Bank.

"We strongly condemn the racist remarks and positions of Friedman and Bennett, which we consider as a reaffirmation of the so-called 'Deal of the Century,' which has nothing to do with peace or serious negotiations," said the Palestinian Foreign Ministry in a statement.
