BEIJING, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- "Youth of China," a documentary film produced by the China Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio (Group), premiered Friday in Beijing.

The film centers on the stories of six young Chinese people, including a female marine, a university student, a rural teacher, a welder, an ocean protection volunteer and a community cadre, to show the vitality and vigor of the People's Republic of China in its 70 years of development, according to director Zhu Qinxiao.

A great amount of precious and detailed video archives collected by the group were also added into the film, revealing some little known historical moments which were both interesting and powerful, Zhu said.

The documentary is expected to officially hit cinemas at the end of March. Enditem
