BEIJING, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials on Friday.

Zhang Ke was appointed general auditor of the National Audit Office.

Meng Dong became the deputy head of the National Radio and Television Administration, replacing Fan Weiping.

Xue Xiaofeng will no longer serve as the deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region. Enditem
