KUNMING, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- A nationwide exhibition on Napoleon Bonaparte has entered Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province.

The 155 sets of 254 items showcased include paintings, sculptures, clothing and objects related to Napoleon Bonaparte.

Cultural relics such as the Napoleonic Code, Napoleon's personal letters and France's first Sino-French dictionary are also on display.

The exhibition, showing the ups and downs of Napoleon's life, started Thursday and will last until mid-March.

"This exhibition aims to promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and France and further enrich exchanges between the two countries," said Guo Chunyuan, deputy curator of the Henan Provincial Museum.

The exhibition was held in Kunming, Guiyang and other parts of China before coming to Zhengzhou. Enditem
