SHANGHAI, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- As the Chinese lunar new year -- the Year of Rat, is coming, here are some art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

  Hollywood Concert Orchestra Chinese New Year Concert

  Date: Jan. 22

  Venue: Shanghai Grand Theatre

  Introduction:

  The Hollywood Symphony Orchestra comprises recording musicians from the Hollywood movie studios and the Los Angeles concert scene. At the concert audience will be hearing some all-time favorites, like The Sound of Music, Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's, as well Lord of the Rings, etc.

  I Love Peach Blossoms

  Date: Jan. 19-22, Jan. 31-Feb. 9

  Venue: Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center

  Introduction:

  Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center is staging its first original drama work of the year. The play deals with a love affair between two actors, and reveals the same moral dilemma which confronted both modern people and people from the Tang Dynasty.

  The Art of the Brick

  Date: Daily except Mon until March 15

  Venue: Tank Shanghai

  Introduction:

  Tank No.5 shows The Art of The Brick, an exhibition of 89 artworks built with LEGO bricks by American artist Nathan Sawaya. He is the only person in the world to combine the titles of LEGO Certified Professional and Master Builder. Visitors will see classics like the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, but also appreciate the artist's unique creations.
