SHANGHAI, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed lower Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for June delivery was down 3 yuan (about 43 U.S. cents) to close at 356.2 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 96,021 lots, with a turnover of about 34.33 billion yuan.
