BEIJING, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- The following is a summary of published science and technology news of China.

Chinese researchers have developed a robotic sprayer that can help reduce the transmission of the novel coronavirus in heavily populated urban areas.

The new air-blast machine, a vehicle fitted with caterpillar tracks, was used for agricultural spraying in the past. Researchers from Soochow University in east China's Jiangsu Province renovated its spraying system, making it more suitable for disinfectant liquid cleaners.

The Chinese government and mental health professionals have implemented rapid and comprehensive public health emergency interventions on mental health care to aid the battle against the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Researchers from Peking University reported in the journal Lancet that dealing with public psychological barriers and performing psychological crisis intervention is included in the top-level public health emergency response which has been activated in 31 provincial-level regions.

Researchers from China and the United States have mapped a single-cell transcriptomic atlas of primate ovarian aging, providing a reference for the development of interventions against human ovarian aging and associated diseases.

Ovarian aging may influence women's reproductive health and lead to other possible diseases such as cardiovascular diseases. However, it is difficult to accurately reveal the molecular mechanisms of human ovarian aging, which restricts the development of intervention methods for ovarian aging and related diseases. Enditem
