SHANGHAI, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures opened higher Friday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for June delivery was up 1.24 yuan (about 18 U.S. cents) to open at 357.22 yuan a gram.
