SHANGHAI, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed higher Friday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for June delivery was up 0.8 yuan (about 11 U.S. cents) to close at 356.78 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 58,424 lots, with a turnover of about 20.86 billion yuan.
