CAIRO -- EgyptAir, the flagship carrier of Egypt, announced on Thursday that it will resume flights to and from China starting from Feb. 27.

In a statement, EgyptAir said the national airline has decided to resume a flight every Thursday from Cairo to Beijing and then to Guangzhou. The return flight will start from Guangzhou and stop in Beijing before flying to Cairo. (Egypt-China-EgyptAir)

JERUSALEM/RAMALLAH -- Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said Thursday that agricultural imports from the West Bank to Israel will be resumed.

The minister notified the Palestinian Authority (PA) on the resumption of exports "after a (Palestinian) boycott on Israeli beef has been lifted," according to a statement issued by Bennett's office. (Israel-Palestine)

BAGHDAD -- The Iraqi authorities decided on Thursday to suspend the entry of Iranian citizens and prevent the travel of Iraqis to Iran after the emergence of infections with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran.

ANKARA -- Turkey on Thursday urged Europe to take steps against racism and xenophobia after shootings in the western German city of Hanau on Wednesday evening.
