SHANGHAI, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for May delivery was down 9.9 yuan (about 1.41 U.S. dollars) to close at 236.8 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 19 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 125,350 lots, with a turnover of about 30.29 billion yuan.
