BEIJING, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The following are the highlights of China's key technology news from the past week:

CHANG'E-4 PROBE

The lander and rover of the Chang'e-4 probe have resumed work for the 16th lunar day on the far side of the moon after "sleeping" during the extremely cold night.

Both the lander and rover are in normal working order, the Lunar Exploration and Space Program Center of the China National Space Administration said.

PUBLIC SERVICE PLATFORM FOR EPIDEMIC CONTROL

China's Ministry of Science and Technology has launched an online public service platform to release the latest technologies and innovative products for novel coronavirus epidemic control.

ULTRASONOGRAPHY TREATMENT

Chinese scientists have shared the ultrasonographic features of the novel coronavirus pneumonia and the treatment experience of lung ultrasonography on patients.

Compared with the early chest computerized tomography, ultrasonography is more effective in screening respiratory failure causes, assessing the severity of the disease, tracking its evolution, as well as providing individualized guidance for treatment.

SYSTEM FOR FINDING ROCKET DEBRIS

China's Xichang Satellite Launch Center announced the development of a new positioning system that can greatly shorten the time searching for rocket debris.

The system has proved efficient in seeking out fallen rocket pieces after the center launched the 54th BeiDou satellite into space.

UNDERWATER GLIDERS

China's self-developed underwater gliders have successfully conducted observations in the Indian Ocean.

Chinese oceanographic research ship Xiangyanghong 06 has returned to the city of Zhoushan in east China's Zhejiang Province on March 12, finishing a research expedition in the Indian Ocean. Developed by the Shenyang Institute of Automation under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 12 gliders codenamed Haiyi participated in this voyage as important survey equipment. Enditem
