SHANGHAI, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for May delivery was up 19.7 yuan (about 2.77 U.S. dollars) to close at 254.3 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 20 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 151,392 lots, with a turnover of about 38.931 billion yuan.
