TEHRAN -- Iran's Defense Minister Amir Hatami said Saturday that the Islamic republic is planning to enhance the speed and explosive power of its missiles.

The accuracy of Iran's ground-to-ground missiles has improved and the country will upgrade their quality in the current Iranian calendar year, which started on March 20, Hatami was quoted by Tasnim news agency as saying. (Iran-Missiles-Upgrade)

TUNIS -- Tunisia on Saturday received medical supplies and equipment from China to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, said the Tunisian presidency.

ADEN, Yemen -- The Saudi-backed Yemeni government's two ministers on Saturday submitted resignations to the Yemen's President Abdu-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

RIYADH -- Saudi Arabia has intercepted missiles above the capital of Riyadh, Al Arabia TV reported on Saturday.
