KUNMING, March 29 (Xinhua) -- A forest fire broke out at noon Sunday in southwest China's Yunnan Province, the county government of Yulong under Lijiang City said.
An emergency response was initiated, which has sent 79 professional firefighters and over 300 local officials and residents to put out the fire.
The government said the fire was caused by a villager during tomb-sweeping, which usually involved burning joss sticks and paper.
The villager has been controled for further investigation. Enditem
