CAIRO -- Egyptian Health Ministry confirmed on Tuesday 128 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths, bringing the total infections in the country to 1,450.

In a statement, spokesman for Egyptian Health Ministry, Khaled Megahed, said the new 128 infections are all Egyptians who recently returned from abroad or persons who have interacted with already confirmed cases, noting that the total deaths from the disease have reached 94. (Egypt-COVID-19)

ANKARA -- The Turkish health minister on Tuesday reported 3,892 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number in the country to 34,109.

Meanwhile, the deaths from the coronavirus have reached 725 after 76 new ones were registered, Fahrettin Koca said at a press conference. (Turkey-COVID-19)

TEHRAN -- The novel coronavirus death toll in Iran rose by 133 to 3,872 on Tuesday, according to Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education.

JERUSALEM -- Israel reported eight new death cases from the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 65, the state's Ministry of Health said.
