NANJING, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese sports streaming service platform PP Sports has set foot in the sports-related retail business and will soon release its own products on e-commerce platforms.
The sports media platform, affiliated with Suning Sports, the owner of Italian soccer giants Inter Milan, will create original smart products for fans, said Wang Dong, president of PP Sports during a recent livestream.
The move comes after PP Sports began selling items including smartphones and TVs matched with game-watching memberships.
More products such as electronic gadgets, snacks and other sports-related items will also be added, PP Sports said.
"We have been dedicated to building a stage for fans to enjoy quality sports streaming services, but our goal is more than that," Wang said, noting they would like to create a bigger platform both for fans and non-fans in the sports market. Enditem
