SHANGHAI, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for July delivery was up 1 yuan (about 14 U.S. cents) to close at 271.7 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 16 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 297,887 lots, with a turnover of about 81.1 billion yuan.
