SHANGHAI, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for July delivery was down 0.7 yuan (about 10 U.S. cents) to close at 272.8 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 15 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 257,246 lots, with a turnover of about 71.7 billion yuan.
