BEIJING, May 29 (Xinhua) -- China's two-year treasury bond futures opened mixed on Friday, with the contract for settlement in June 2020 down 0.03 percent to open at 101.92 yuan (about 14.29 U.S. dollars).

The contract for settlement in September 2020 opened 0.02 percent lower at 101.46 yuan. The contract for settlement in December 2020 opened 0.01 percent higher at 101.26 yuan.

The contracts are agreements to buy or sell treasury bonds at a predetermined price on a set date.

They allow investors to bet on and profit from the movements in the value of the bonds.
