HONG KONG, June 21 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition of Chinese-French painter Zao Wou-ki is being held at Villepin, a gallery newly opened in Hong Kong.
The exhibition, entitled Zao Wou-ki: Friendship and Reconciliation, displays Zao's works from the 1940s to the beginning of the 21st century, including oil paintings, ink paintings, watercolor paintings and lithographs.
Apart from artworks, a number of photos are also featured.
Born in Beijing in 1921, Zao moved to Paris in 1948 and became a master of lyrical abstraction. He obtained French nationality in 1964. He died in 2013 in Switzerland.
The exhibition runs until Sept. 20. Enditem
