QINGDAO, China, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Arnett Moultrie had 28 points and 17 rebounds, helping Beijing Royal Fighters beat Jiangsu Dragons 104-95 in the 2019-20 CBA series on Thursday.

It was the second straight victory for the Royal Fighters, and the team moved back into the top eight in the standings after the win.

Royal Fighters guard Kyle Fogg got 21 points and nine assists. Wang Zirui and Zong Zan added 16 and 19 points respectively.

Jiangsu got a quicker start, with center Wu Guanxi dominating the paint and leading his side into a 17-9 lead in the middle of the first quarter. Royal Fighters duo Moultrie and Fogg started to pick up points later in the quarter, cutting the deficit to four points by the end of the first period.

The Royal Fighters started the second quarter with a 7-0 spurt and took back the lead. Zong made full use of fast break opportunities to broaden the gap to 11 points.

Jiangsu tried hard to come back into the game in the next two quarters, only to see Royal Fighters shooters making straight baskets beyond the arc to maintain their advantage. After Zong's two straight three-pointers, the Royal Fighters sealed the victory.

Wu had 24 points and nine rebounds for Jiangsu. Hou Yifan added 23 points.

The Royal Fighters will next face Shanxi Loongs, while Jiangsu Dragons will take on Tianjin Pioneers. Enditem
