JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that Israel is taking "constant action" against Iran in Syria, two days after Israeli jets allegedly conducted a deadly airstrike in Syria.

"We are taking constant action against the efforts of Iran and its proxies to entrench militarily in Syria," Netanyahu said during a graduation ceremony of Air Force pilots.(Israel-Iran)

TEHRAN -- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday launched an oil pipeline project which will enable the country to export its oil using a route other than the Strait of Hormuz, Tasnim news agency reported.

"What is strategic about this project is that many countries in the region have managed to find a second way so that they can export their oil using other routes whenever the Strait of Hormuz faces danger," Rouhani said addressing a ceremony to inaugurate the project. (Iran-Oil Pipeline)

RAMALLAH -- Palestine is holding intensive contacts to form a draft resolution for voting in the United Nations against the Israeli annexation plan, state radio reported on Thursday, quoting Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki.
