SHANGHAI, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Guoan forward Cedric Bakambu arrived in Shanghai on Friday in preparation for the 2020 Chinese Super League season, according to his instagram account.

On his instagram account, he said: "Hello Beijing." He landed in Shanghai on Friday, where he is required to go through a 14-day mandatory quarantine.

Before Bakambu, Bruno Genesio, head coach of Guoan, had arrived in Shanghai on Monday. And among Guoan's rest foreign players, Renato Augusto, Fernando Lucas Martins and Jonathan Viera Ramos have filed visa applications. Once approved, they are expected to return to China as soon as possible. Kim Min-Jae has already got his visa in hand and Guoan is arranging for his return.

Chen Xuyuan, president of Chinese Football Association (CFA), has inspected the football facilities of Dalian and Suzhou, which are expected to stage the Chinese top football league matches after its restart. According to a source close to CFA, the 2020 Chinese Super League season may kick off in July 25, pending the approval of China's sports authorities. Enditem
