SHANGHAI, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for December 2020 delivery was up 0.8 yuan (about 11 U.S. cents) to close at 400.14 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for eight listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 80,514 lots, with a turnover of about 32.22 billion yuan.
