BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- World silver medalist Lyu Huihui created a world lead result of 67.61 meters in a javelin test event held by the Chinese national team here on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old produced her best throw of the season with her second attempt in the event held behind the closed doors at the Beijing Sport University. She beat her previous season-best set just a day ago when she threw 64.34.
The world top-ranked Lyu, who set up her personal best of 67.98 last August in Shanghai, took a silver medal at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing and finished third at the 2017 and 2019 editions of the competitions in London and Doha respectively. Enditem
