Moreno returns to training with Shanghai Shenhua

BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Shenhua captain Giovanni Moreno has joined up with the Chinese Super League side for training after completing a 14-day mandatory quarantine.
A video released on social media by the Shanghai club on Monday shows the Colombian international emerging onto the training pitch to the applause of his teammates.
"I felt like I had retired on my birthday on July 1 when I saw the greeting videos you sent me, as it had been a long time since I had trained with you," Moreno told his teammates in the video.
The 34-year-old attacker returned to Shanghai on June 22 on a chartered plane before being put under compulsory quarantine in a hotel.
Moreno now has less than three weeks to ready himself for the start of the 2020 Chinese Super League season, which begins on July 25. Enditem
