KHARTOUM -- Sudan's Council of Ministers on Thursday announced a cabinet reshuffle in response to the public demand for correcting the path of revolution.

"All ministers of the transitional government have turned in their resignations to give the opportunity for reshuffling the government," the council said in a statement. (Sudan-Cabinet)

DAMASCUS -- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday hailed the Syrian-Iranian military agreement signed a day earlier in the capital Damascus.

Assad said the agreement highlights the strategic relations between Syria and Iran, adding that it comes as a result of years of mutual work and cooperation against the "terrorist war on Syria and the aggressive policies imposed on Syria and Iran." (Syria-Iran)

TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Thursday dismissed the U.S. claims of seizing an Iranian ship carrying weapons to Yemen as "unfounded."

The Foreign Ministry spokesman, Abbas Mousavi, said in a statement that the U.S. is "lying" and Washington is used to leveling "baseless" accusations against other countries. (Iran-Yemen)

RIYADH -- The Saudi-led coalition involved in a war in Yemen destroyed on Thursday two remotely- controlled bomb-laden boats of Houthi militia.
