BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Here are the highlights of education news in China from the past week:

-- China sets up language cooperation center

China's Ministry of Education has set up a center to run Chinese language teaching programs, in a bid to deepen the language education exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries.

Operating as a public benefit institution, the center will also be involved in managing relevant education resources, setting standards for Chinese language teaching, and supporting academic research.

-- China launches online campaign to help college graduates find jobs

China's Ministry of Education has joined hands with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to launch an online recruitment drive to help the country's college graduates find jobs.

The campaign encourages cultural and tourist companies nationwide to provide information about their vacancies, and the education ministry will organize students from relevant majors to apply online, the two ministries said in a statement.

The campaign will run till the end of August.

-- New policy ensures better integration of children with disabilities

With a new policy to allow more children with disabilities to attend ordinary schools and study with their non-disabled peers, China's education authority said it is working to ensure such students' better integration into society.

China's Ministry of Education has issued a guideline on improving the work on disabled children's learning in regular classes for compulsory education.
