SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed lower Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for September 2020 delivery was down 6 yuan (about 86 U.S. cents) to close at 279.7 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 14 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 165,746 lots, with a turnover of about 47.5 billion yuan.
