BEIJING, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- The 23rd Beijing Music Festival (BMF), slated from Oct. 10 to 20, will present non-stop classical music shows for over 240 hours, online and offline.

The offline part will include 20 performances in the forms of orchestral music, chamber music, solo concerts, opera films, and others, said Chinese conductor Yu Long, also the chairperson of the festival's art committee.

For the online part of the festival, audio and video programs featuring famous works by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Verdi and Puccini will be played on the BMF app continuously, Yu said.

The opening concert will feature a vocal and choral symphony to pay tribute to those who have fought bravely against the COVID-19 epidemic. Enditem
