BEIJING, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Table Tennis Association (CTTA) will publicly recruit a group of coaches for two national junior teams, China's table tennis governing body announced on Monday.
The CTTA announced on August 20 that the two teams, for paddlers aged between 11 and 14, and between seven and 10 respectively, will be set up at the end of 2020.
During the process of player recruitment across the country, the CTTA is now open to public, professional teams, schools, clubs and individuals to enlist coaches with passion for, and experience in the sport in an open, fair and equitable manner.
Four head coaches will be appointed, each for boys' and girls' teams of different ages. Three or four assistant coaches will be recruited for each team.
The CTTA said that it hopes to meet coaches who are devoted to China's table tennis development and junior players development, and endeavor to realize their dreams for the sport, to achieve a sustainable development of table tennis in China and build a talent pool for the future.
The recruitment process is open to all areas of society, the CTTA added in the statement. Enditem
