BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- The following is a summary of published science and technology news of China.


China successfully sent nine satellites into planned orbit at the Yellow Sea Tuesday.

The nine satellites, belonging to the Jilin-1 Gaofen 03-1 group, blasted off atop a Long March-11 carrier rocket, China's first sea-launched rocket, at 9:23 a.m. (Beijing Time).


China's independently developed ARJ21 regional aircraft has been plying on a new domestic route operated by China Southern Airlines, according to its developer Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC).

The route connects Shanghai and Jieyang, south China's Guangdong Province, and it is the airline's third route in which ARJ21 is operating, said COMAC.


China has seen comprehensive enhancement in the intellectual property rights (IPR) sector over the past decade, with remarkable results, said a report released by the National Intellectual Property Administration on Monday.

Over the 2010-2019 period, the comprehensive development index of China's IPR sector increased from 100 to 279.2, according to the 2019 annual evaluation report on China's IP development.


Chinese researchers have found that summer monsoon moisture can invade the dry and cold regions in northwest China's Gansu Province, according to a study published in the journal Climate Dynamics.

According to researchers from the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, both the frequency and intensity of heavy precipitation in northwestern China have visibly increased in recent years. Enditem
