Palestine records 9 new COVID-19 fatalities, death toll at 300

RAMALLAH, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Palestine on Sunday recorded nine fatalities from the novel coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 300.

In a press statement, Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila said that four deaths were recorded in Hebron, four in Tulkarm, and one in Bethlehem.

Meanwhile, the health ministry reported 683 new cases infected with the virus in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, raising the total number of infections to 45,446.

Palestine currently has 13,654 active cases. Enditem
