GUANGZHOU, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and three others injured in a knife attack in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, on Monday, local police said.
The attack took place at 7:35 a.m. in the city's Panyu District.
Police investigations found that the suspect surnamed Wang, 47, had long suffered depression. He inflicted self-injury before he was subdued by police and later succumbed to his injuries.
The injured are in stable conditions, according to the police, and a further investigation is underway. Enditem
