Shanghai crude oil futures open higher

SHANGHAI, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures opened higher Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.

The most active crude oil contract for November 2020 delivery opened at 259.9 yuan (about 38.6 U.S. dollars) a barrel, up 30 cents compared with Tuesday.

China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investors, in March 2018. Enditem
