SHANGHAI, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed lower Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for December 2020 delivery was down 1.24 yuan (about 19 U.S. cents) to close at 401.56 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 229,488 lots, with a turnover of about 92.44 billion yuan.
