NINGBO, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- The China Ningbo Containerized Freight Index (NCFI) reported a stable trend in freight indices in the Middle East route.
NCFI, a wind vane of China's busiest port's freight rates for the international container shipping market, stood at 1,320.6 points on Friday, up 5.9 percent compared with last week.
The sub-reading for the Middle East route quoted 1,200.3 points, down 0.4 percent compared with last week.
According to the Ningbo Shipping Exchange, after the previous continuous price rise, the freight rate on the route has reached a high level and tends to be stable.
