1st LD-Writethru: Chinese shares close lower

BEIJING, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.4 percent, at 3,360.15 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.05 percent lower at 13,993.34 points.

The combined turnover of stocks covered by the two indices stood at 981.2 billion yuan (about 148.9 billion U.S. dollars), down from 1.084 trillion yuan the previous trading day.

Stocks in airport shipping, mining and liquor-making sectors led the gains, with Air China Limited rising by 6.25 percent to 7.65 yuan per share.

Shares related to automobile, charging piles and cloud office weakened.

The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 1.45 percent to close at 2,773.22 points Tuesday. Enditem
