KUNMING, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- A ceremony was held Thursday in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, to mark the donations of anti-pandemic medical supplies to Laos and Myanmar.

The Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries donated 460,000 yuan (about 69,900 U.S. dollars) and 410,000 yuan worth of anti-pandemic supplies to Laos and Myanmar, respectively.

The supplies include patrol vehicles for medical services and nucleic acid extraction reagents.

Yunnan has previously dispatched a team of medical experts to Laos to help establish a nucleic acid testing lab, and donated 8 million yuan worth of anti-pandemic materials to Myanmar. Enditem
